The new government is deeply committed to ensuring all round harmonious development of the State, with focus on reducing the developmental and emotional gap between hill and valley.  “Hill Leader’s day” celebrated on 10th of every month is one such initiative, which serves as a forum to interact with Tribal Chiefs and Leaders of Hill based Civil Society Organisations, to address their grievances, highlight issues and promote closer ties between the Hill and Valley with the intent to deliver equitable development.
